The goal of the Anti-Human Trafficking Committee is to empower member companies to confront the critical issues of human trafficking, individually displaced persons (IDPs), and refugees through comprehensive education, advocacy, authorship, partnership, and outreach.
Human trafficking, a global crisis that impacts 25 million people and generates $150 billion in illicit funds each year, involves the recruitment, transportation, harboring, or receipt of individuals through force, fraud, or deception for exploitation. Its social and legal impacts are profound, affecting countless lives across sectors and requiring a coordinated, multi-stakeholder response.
Similarly, the challenges faced by IDPs, and refugees remain persistent and complex global issues, demanding our collective effort to foster stability and security for those most vulnerable. We are committed to addressing these challenges by equipping our members with the resources and support they need to drive meaningful change.
