The Building Capacity Committee addresses a broad range of service needs, outside of infrastructure and logistics, that underpin global stability, to include security cooperation, training, crisis management, post-conflict recovery (to include UXO/demining), governance, intelligence, and law enforcement. Committee members will work to enhance these essential systems, which are critical for resilience and stability in conflict-affected regions.
This new Committee will hold bi-monthly meetings, or six meetings a year. These meetings will include brief updates shared among the members, presentations on topics of interest, and discussions on the strategic outlook. Additionally, there will be opportunities to identify potential teaming partnerships, with a few capability presentations, as well as the ability to advertise for desired teammate capabilities, as part of each meeting. Finally, the Committee will also identify potential issues for lobbying efforts and look to support regular ISOA meetings, conferences, and the Annual Summit with recommendations for panels and panelists.
