The Indo-Pacific Working Group brings together ISOA members who support, or seek to support, U.S. stability operations in the Indo-Pacific Region. The group has held a series of Focused Discussions about solutions to the logistical and sustainment challenges resulting from the region’s vast distances. The private sector’s power and ingenuity will be important factors in overcoming “the tyranny of time and distance” to provide support to our bases and those of our allies and therefore provide a critical aspect of deterrence. ISOA will play an important role in helping create public/private partnerships to be successful in this mission.
The Indo-Pacific Working Group is led by ISOA Vice Chairman John Gastright. The Working Group holds periodic in-person discussion sessions and publishes materials on the Working Group Portal.
