Ultimate Armour Works was established in the UAE in 2005 in response to the growing market demand for high quality and reliable armored vehicles. UAW has maintained long term supply contracts with several of the customers who first purchased UAW vehicles. Several fleet managers and governments are still utilizing UAW’ vehicles 10 years since deployment. In 2009, UAW became the first Middle Eastern producer to fully certify a civilian armored vehicle against blast and ballistic threats.
Currently UAW is producing over 300 armored vehicles per year and supplies several governmental entities in Africa, the Middle-East, North America and Central Europe. This includes ministries of Foreign Affairs and Aid & Development Organizations such as the UN as well as law enforcement authorities and Ministries of Defense. UAW remains committed to quality and continually maintains and update the ISO systems to ensure consistency of production. The company fully supports all vehicles supplied and offers a quick turn around on spare parts, keeping vehicles operational when most required.
Recently UAW successfully finalized extensive testing of a VPAM 9 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series (Attached you find relevant certificates and reports). The vehicle was extensively tested in terms of mobility performance, ballistic, and blast. TNO from the Netherlands conducted the final blast test. Attached you will find the relevant certificates. This was already the fourth vehicle fully certified and tested by UAW within the last nine years.
UAW has all modern equipment/machinery to allow full in-house processing and production with equipment such as laser profiling, robotic welding, high accuracy milling and turning CNC press bending, vacuum forming, polyurea coating, water transfer printing. Having such a well-equipped facility allows greater control over the consistency of production and delivery times.
Ultimate Armour Works upholds a high reputation for quality and consistency. This is ensured by our in-depth production ERP system, which documents over 600 checkpoints during the production process to ensure that all production conforms to the same standards as the certified and tested variants. The company maintains and manufactures according to a robust ISO 9001:2015 quality management system with additional focus on environmental responsibility and occupational health and safety through ISO14001 and 45001 certifications. Ultimate Armour Works additionally maintains process controls such as a fully documented and audited certified ISO welding process.
