Conference to focus on the importance of effective public/private partnerships in global stability operations

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 22, 2024 — The International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) is set to host its 18th Annual Summit from November 12-14, 2024, in Arlington, VA. Attendees will gain expert insights into current global hotspots, discover essential strategies for successful public-private partnerships, identify potential contracting opportunities, and build valuable connections within the government contracting sector.

The Summit will feature more than a dozen expert panels and keynote speakers addressing critical topics, including the current situation in Ukraine, advancements in cyber technology, and effective business practices in today’s challenging global landscape. Representatives from the U.S. Departments of Defense and State, USAID, NATO, and other contracting authorities will provide the latest updates on current contracting vehicles and welcome introductions from potential partners. Additionally, the highly anticipated Business Matchmaking Forum will offer attendees the opportunity to connect one-on-one with both industry and government representatives.

Like last year, the Summit will feature an informative one-day Small Business Workshop, tailored specifically to meet the unique needs of small businesses seeking contracting and subcontracting opportunities with U.S. Government agencies and prime contractors. This workshop will provide actionable takeaways to help small businesses enhance their growth and competitiveness in the market.

“At this particularly challenging time in international affairs, ISOA believes it is important for companies in global stability and contingency operations to be highly informed and fully prepared,” said ISOA President and Executive Director Howard R. Lind. “Expert updates and in-person connections with government customers, contractors, and implementers will help attendees create more successful public/private partnerships.”

Registration for the ISOA Summit is available on the ISOA website until November 11. ISOA members and non-members are encouraged to attend. Looking ahead, ISOA’s next major conference, on February 11-13, 2025, in Doha, Qatar, will focus on stability operations in the Middle East. In March, the fourth annual Department of State Industry Day will be held in the Washington, D.C. area, followed by the April ISOA Europe Industry Days in Wiesbaden, Germany and the May ISOA Indo-Pacific Conference in Hawaii.
