Attendees Will Receive Updates on Stability Operations in the Middle East and Africa
WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 24, 2023) – The International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) will hold its next conference on February 14-16, 2023 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The conference, titled Middle East and Africa Evolution in a Complex World, will provide updates on the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East and Africa, identify potential contracting opportunities and public-private partnerships, and create opportunities for attendees to make government contracting business connections.
The conference features over a dozen informative panels and inspirational keynote speakers discussing critical topics such as global trends in stability operations; security of water, energy and food; supply chain issues; Women, Peace, and Security; contract augmentation program updates; and the role of small businesses in stability operations. Representatives from the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of State as well as NGOs and industry will attend and speak, briefing attendees on current and upcoming initiatives and challenges.
“We’re pleased that so many experts and practitioners will attend, ensuring our attendees will receive insightful and practical updates on Middle East and Africa-related stability and contingency operations,” said ISOA President and Executive Director Howard R. Lind. “ISOA’s members are always eager to make in-person connections with contracting officers, primes, and subcontractors to develop successful public-private partnerships.”
Registration for the Abu Dhabi Conference is available on the ISOA website until February 9, 2023. ISOA members and non-members are encouraged to attend.
ISOA’s other 2023 conferences include the Indo-Pacific Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii in April, the Warsaw Conference in September and the annual ISOA Summit in Washington, DC in November.
