Dan Soller

Vice President for International Operations, The Mission Essential Group, LLC

Dan Soller is the Vice President for International Operations for Mission Essential Group where he is responsible for its overseas operations and business development. He has nearly thirty-two years of Army leadership, operational and combat experience in national security strategy and intelligence. Dan has worked in geopolitical and military affairs around the globe to include Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Indo-Pacific regions. His geographic area of special emphasis includes Russia and Eastern/Central Europe. Dan has six war zone deployments to Bosnia-Hercegovina, Afghanistan, and Iraq and has commanded Army units at every level through the rank of colonel. Dan has a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan from the Center for Russian and East European Studies (CREES). He is a Distinguished Graduate with a Master’s degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College and he holds a Master’s degree from the Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS). He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Government and History from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Soviet and European studies. He lived in Europe for more than 12 years and has formally studied and speaks German, Russian and Serbo-Croatian.
