David Delassus

Director of Contracting, Theater Contracting Center, Theater Contracting Center, 409th Contracting Support Brigade, Army Contracting Command

LTC David J. Delassus, a native of St. Louis, MO, commissioned as an Infantry Officer in 2006. His distinguished career includes deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, holding leadership positions from Platoon Leader to Battalion Staff Officer, and commanding two companies within the 82nd Airborne Division.

Transitioning to the Acquisition Corps, LTC Delassus earned an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School and achieved Level III DAWIA certification in Contracting. He served in Germany as a Contracting Officer, Team Leader, and Battalion Operations Officer, supporting numerous exercises and operations across Europe while assigned to the 928th Contracting Battalion, 409th CSB.

LTC Delassus also served in the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, leading Operational Contract Support planning and execution. He is a recognized expert in crisis management and contingency operations, contributing significantly to national-level responses such as Operation Allies Welcome and Ukraine Security Assistance.

Following his time on the Joint Staff, LTC Delassus served as an Army Train with Industry Fellow at Palantir, deepening his expertise in data analytics and technology integration.

Currently, LTC Delassus serves as the Director of Contracting for the 409th CSB Theater Contracting Center.
