Chief Procurement Division Officer, NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA)

Emanuele Piffaretti is the Chief Procurement Division Officer in Support to Operations within the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA). He serves in NSPA Luxembourg Headquarters where he leads the Agency Procurement & Contracting activities in the areas of Real Life Support, Fuel, Medical, Construction, Deployable Infrastructure, support to exercises and missions, Transportation & Warehousing, Ammunition, Maritime support, Random Brokerage, Logistic Stock Exchange and Special Projects. Before being named Chief Procurement Division Officer , Emanuele worked for the last 20+ years within multiple international Public Fortune 500 Companies active in the Pharma, Chemical, FMCG, Luxury and, more recently, Online Retail where he covered the role of Head of EU Global Logistics & Operations for Amazon. He has lived and worked abroad in multiple EU countries, China, Hong Kong, US, Switzerland and Luxembourg

Emanuele earned a bachelor’s degree in management engineering from the Politecnico of Milan, a master’s degree in Manufacturing & Management and a master’s degree in International Commerce. He currently lives in Luxembourg with his wife and three children spending his (limited) free time between piloting small planes and hiking.
