Joe Dunaway

President, Amentum

Joe Dunaway is the President of Executive Operations for Amentum’s $5.4B Critical Missions Business Group, globally dispersed with more than 25,000 employees providing industry leading services and technical support to critical Systems, Platforms and Logistics markets for DoD, DoS, UASID, DHS, NASA and Commercial clients and customers worldwide. The Critical Mission Group is an industry leader in support and innovative solutions for Sustainment Analytics, Test and Training, Logistics, Aviation, Space and Critical Infrastructure as well as Diplomacy and International Development. Joe Dunaway was previously the President of Aviation Solutions and served at DynCorp International as the President Dyn Aviation.

Joe has more than 28 years in distinguished active military service with the Army. He served in both combat and garrison locations around the world and commanded at every level though Brigade Command, to include command of the Corpus Christi Army Depot. He deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan and has more than 2,400 hours and 131 combat missions as Master Army Aviator and Test Pilot. His final assignment was in the Pentagon as the Military Executive to the HON Alan F. Estevez, Principal Deputy to HON Frank Kendall, the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L).
