Mike Flanagan
Vice President Operations, LOGCAP and Army Portfolio, KBR
Michael S. Flanagan is the Vice President of LOGCAP and Army Portfolio for KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions. Mike manages U.S. Army Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) V and is responsible for the oversight and project execution of operations in Europe and the United States. He has been overseeing all LOGCAP operations since January 1, 2015. Under LOGCAP, Mike has leadership responsibility for the oversight and management of base life support services, logistics services and transportation mission across 40 sites while supporting over 10,000 U.S. forces, coalition forces, and civilian contractors. He leads a team of over 4,600 employees who are geographically dispersed across 10 countries, with an annual budget of over $870 million. Mike Flanagan’s 40-plus year career includes 29 years of active duty leading, managing and implementing Army Engineering support, base life support and logistics services for Department of Army, Department of State, and Coalition Forces around the globe as well as 17 years of similar contractor experience. During his 29 years of Army service, Flanagan held numerous command and staff positions. His key command assignments included the 18th Engineer Brigade and 1/395th Engineer Training Battalion. Mike was also the Deputy Chief of Staff for Engineers in the U.S. Army Europe and was the CENTCOM Engineer for his last military assignment. Flanagan holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of
Kentucky, a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida and is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
