Tobias Beutgen

Tobias Beutgen, Director, ISOA Europe Chapter, has been an integral member of the ISOA team since 2008, first in UAE and later in Europe. For many years he worked as Commercial Director for a leading manufacturer of transparent armor solutions, successfully developing business in Asia, Africa, Australia and Central Europe out of the UAE. In 2020, after 17 years in the Middle East, he decided to move back with his family to his home country of Germany and is now based there, where he is the Managing Director of the UAW Germany GmbH, a leading manufacturer of armored vehicles.
Tobias made the decision to rejoin ISOA in 2018 and took on the responsibility of building up the European ISOA Chapter. He has successfully supported the establishment of ISOA in Southeast Asia and Central Europe, organizing several workshops and chapter meetings in Duesseldorf, Kaiserslautern, Berlin, Warsaw, Rzeszów, Pristina and Brussels. The upcoming US Industry Day in April, hosted by the 409th CSB and organized by the ISOA Europe Chapter, will be one of the major ISOA events in 2024.
Tobias holds an MA in Orientalism, Politics and Social Anthropology from the FU Berlin, as well as a BA in Business Administration. He obtained language degrees from the University of Kuwait and Damascus, and worked as a political advisor prior to his business career.
