SkillBridge Introduction & Transitioning Military Talent
Learn How to Attract and Secure Transitioning Military Talent
July 12, 2023 | 9-10AM EDT
Presented by the Small Business Committee
Join us for a webinar to introduce you to SkillBridge and how you can use this DoD program to mitigate the current red-hot job market, particularly for military professionals seeking their next career move. For example, have you considered how to market
to military talent, how to conduct a successful interview, and how to aid them in their transition to their new position? The webinar will also address how Industry Partners / Employers can tap into the expertise of former service members by sponsoring
internship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities through the SkillBridge program. Attendees will attain invaluable knowledge and insights regarding attracting and securing transitioning military talent and will gain a deeper understanding of the hiring
climate, transitioning veterans’ concerns, and strategies to successfully recruit and support military professionals in their journey toward post-military employment.
Open to members and non-members of ISOA. Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to attend.
This session will be moderated by Crystal Canet, Chairman of the Small Business Committee
