ISOA WPS Certification Training – Through the Lens of USG

Description:

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn what the United States Government wants Contractors to know and DO about Women, Peace, and Security. This course provides an overview of the evolution of the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda; conflict-related
sexual violence; the U.S. Government’s approach to advancing WPS; Gender Analysis of Conflict tools; and Gender-sensitive Stabilization approaches. It will cover the Department of State’s role in implementing the 2019 U.S. Strategy on Women, Peace,
and Security – providing insight on best approaches for the private sector to effectively engage with the U.S. Government to advance WPS in the field.

This session, the first of three that ISOA will offer in 2023, applies towards ISOA’s WPS Training Certification. Future programs will be through the lens of Civil Society and Academia. Learn more about the ISOA WPS Certification Program.
